How to insert equations in latex?

  • for small equations, u can directly place the equations between two dollar symbols i.e. equations like cos , sin , x^2 etc.
  • these syntax u can find under the "math" tab.

  • for larger equations, u can use other sources like online equation editor for writing the equations.

  • After opening the webpage, u can find the different symbols like pi, micro, sigma, etc
  • u can also write differential equations, integrals, summations, etc.
  • Suppose if u want to write dt/dx, then under the fraction section, findout the one that u want.
  • Under the equation, there will be  a preview also, which u can check the instant equation whether it is correct or not.
  • Initially it will be like this.

So while typing , u will get the preview as below.

Now u can copy the syntax that will be available in the box and paste in the latex where it is required.
